This Easter let us not forget so great a salvation!

    Hebrews 2:1-3
For this reason, we must pay much closer attention to [a]what we
have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. 2 For
if the word spoken through angels proved [b]unalterable,
and every violation and act of disobedience received a just [c]punishment, 3 how
will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?

    John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son,
so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

The power of the Cross is everything.

    1st Corinthians 1:18
    The Wisdom of God
For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it
    is the power of God.

Reconciled us to the Father after the fall of Adam

    Romans 5:10
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through
the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we
shall be saved by His life.

    Hebrews 1:3
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation
of His nature and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made
purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty
    on high,

    Overcame the Power of Death

    Romans 6:9
knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to
die again; death no longer is master over Him.

    Hebrews 2:14-15
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself
likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He
might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,
and free those who through fear of death were subject to
    slavery all their lives.

    Romans 6:4
Therefore, we have been buried with Him through baptism into death,
so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the
Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.

    Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift
of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Overcame Sin and the Power of Sin

    Hebrews 2:17
Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brothers so
that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining
to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

    Hebrews 4:15
For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our
weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things just as we are,
    yet without sin.

    Hebrews 7:27
who has no daily need, like those high priests, to offer up
sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of
the people, because He did this once for all time when He
    offered up Himself.

    Gift of the Holy Spirit

    Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and
began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was
giving them the ability to speak out.

    Acts 2:33
Therefore, since He has been exalted at the right hand of God, and
has received the promise of the Holy Spirit from
the Father, He has poured out this which you both see and hear.

    Acts 2:38
Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be
baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you
will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Let us not forget so great a salvation.  less
